CFMOTO’s 2027 X10 and X10-4 Are Here and There’s a Lot to Talk About
If you follow CFMOTO, August 9 was a pretty good day to be online.
CFMOTO pulled the cover off its 2027 lineup at its dealer show, and one of the biggest surprises was the new X10 and X10-4. Blake Stalans with Real Talk Powersports has been sharing an up-close look from the event, and he did not exactly ease into his description. He called the new X10 an “Xpedition killer.” We'll let the reader decide. Looking at what CFMOTO brought to the table, we understand why people are already talking about it.
The new X10 platform brings a 998cc turbocharged three-cylinder engine making 154 horsepower, paired with trailing-arm rear suspension. CFMOTO is also keeping the machine at 64 inches wide, putting a lot of power into a size that still makes sense for riders who actually want to get out and use it on the trails. CFMOTO USA officially introduced both the X10 and X10-4 as part of its new XFORCE lineup on August 9.
And 154 horsepower is not just a big number for CFMOTO. It is the same output CFMOTO is getting from the turbocharged 998cc triple in the ZFORCE Z10 platform, which produces 154 horsepower and 107 lb-ft of torque. That engine has already given us a pretty good idea of what CFMOTO is capable of doing with a turbo triple.
What makes the X10 especially interesting, though, is that this is not simply another pure sport machine. CFMOTO appears to be going after the rider who wants performance without giving up room, cargo space and the ability to actually use the machine for a full day of riding. The X10-4 adds the longer four-seat configuration for riders who want to bring more people along. That combination is what has already earned it so many comparisons to machines like the Polaris Xpedition.

There was plenty happening on the utility side of the lineup, too.
One of the bigger changes is the end of the familiar UFORCE 1000 in the U.S. lineup. CFMOTO is replacing it with the new U10 EPS, continuing the shift toward the newer U10 platform. Real Talk Powersports shared the change directly from the dealer event, calling out the U10 EPS as the replacement for the outgoing UFORCE 1000. A U10 XL EPS was also shown, giving buyers a longer option for crews and families.
That move actually makes a lot of sense when you look at how much CFMOTO has invested in the U10 platform. The U10 Pro brought the 998cc three-cylinder engine, electronic shifting, OmniDrive CVT, a 1,000-pound cargo box, touchscreen technology and a much more refined cab than the older UFORCE platform.
The U10 Pro Highland is also back for 2027, and CFMOTO has continued refining an already pretty loaded machine. The Highland platform gives riders a factory-enclosed cab with heat and air conditioning, power windows, a power tip-out glass windshield, an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, audio, a sliding rear window and an electric/hydraulic dump box. Real Talk Powersports has also shown some of the smaller 2027 updates from the dealer show, including interior and seat changes and even the addition of a dome light.

It is interesting to watch where CFMOTO is heading. A few years ago, a lot of the conversation around the brand centered on price. Now the conversation is just as often about horsepower, technology, comfort and features.
And while everyone was looking at the new machines, there was another pretty cool moment at the dealer event.
Congratulations are in order for Main Street Cycle in Tishomingo, Mississippi. Main Street Cycle was recognized as CFMOTO’s #1 dealer for 2026. If you follow CFMOTO online, there is a good chance you already know the MSC name. They have become a huge part of the CFMOTO community, and their partnership with Blake and Real Talk Powersports has also given riders a chance to see these machines tested, modified and talked about outside of a showroom.
For us at 3 Star UTV, new machine releases are always fun because our minds immediately go to what riders are going to want once these start hitting garages. Windshields, roofs, cab protection, storage, cold-weather riding. We start looking at the machine from the accessory side almost immediately.
We are especially curious to see the X10 and X10-4 out in the real world. On paper, 154 horsepower, trailing-arm suspension, usable cargo space and passenger room make for a pretty interesting combination.
CFMOTO definitely gave us something to talk about for 2027.
And we have a feeling the aftermarket is about to get busy.
